Senators reassign forward Mark Stone to Binghamton (AHL)

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) today reassigned forward Mark Stone to the club’s American Hockey League affiliate, the Binghamton Senators.

In seven games with Ottawa since his recall on Dec. 31, 2013, Stone recorded two points, including his first National Hockey League goal on Jan. 4 in Ottawa’s 4-3 overtime victory over the Montreal Canadiens. Stone has missed the Senators’ last eight games due to injury.

The 21-year-old has recorded nine goals and nine assists for 18 points in 19 AHL games with the B-Sens this season. Binghamton’s next game comes on Saturday, Feb. 8, when they host the Hamilton Bulldogs at Canadian Tire Centre. Game time on Saturday is 7 p.m.
