News Release: Team White Wins Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek
$50,000 donated to the Ottawa Senators Foundation SENS RINK project
OTTAWA - Sens Skills presented by Sport Chek was held earlier this evening at Canadian Tire Centre. On behalf of Sport Chek, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players' Association, the Senators will donate $50,000 to the Ottawa Senators Foundation’s SENS RINK project. Wednesday’s attendance was 10,636.
Prior to Wednesday’s event, Danielle Robinson, Ottawa Senators Foundation president, accepted a cheque on behalf of the organization from Sport Chek’s associate vice-president of pro sports partnerships, Matthew Coorsh. The funds will support future construction of SENS RINK projects. These recreational spaces will offer skating and hockey clinics as well as summer programs for hundreds of local children and youth.
