News Release: Senators appoint Peter O’Leary Chief Marketing Officer and Vice-President of Ticketing
OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators (@Senators) today announced the hiring of Peter O’Leary as their new Chief Marketing Officer and Vice-President of Ticketing.
O’Leary joins the Senators after spending the last nine years at Metroland Media Group, a division of Torstar, Ontario's largest and most successful community news and information source, where he most recently served as Regional General Manager of Metroland East.
Prior to the sale of Performance Printing / EMC to Metroland, Peter was the Chief Operating Officer for six years at Performance Group. He also worked at the Ottawa Citizen for 13 years including time as Vice-President of Advertising. He has more than 27 years of traditional and digital newspaper experience in both Ottawa and Toronto, including daily newspapers, community newspapers, shoppers and a national newspaper.

Heavily involved in the local community, O’Leary serves on a number of local boards, including the West Ottawa Board of Trade, the Snowsuit Fund of Ottawa and the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
O’Leary will begin with the Senators on Sept. 22, 2014. A long time Sens fan, he joins the Sens Army along with his wife, Cindy, and their children Alexandra and Curtis.
