Executive vice-president, chief financial officer and alternate governor

Erin Crowe was named executive vice-president and chief financial officer of Senators Sports & Entertainment on July 1, 2009.
Crowe is part of the Senators’ three-member executive team, with her primary responsibilities falling in the areas of finance and administration. She has more than 19 years of experience working in sports and finance.
Prior to her promotion in 2009, Crowe served as the organization’s chief financial officer for six years after previous responsibilities as controller and vice-president of finance. During this period, Crowe was a key member of the team involved in the successful restructuring and sale of the Senators and Canadian Tire Centre in 2003. She maintains overall responsibility for long-term financial planning, budgeting and financial reporting of the organization.
Crowe was named the 2009 Corporate Businesswoman of the Year by the Ottawa Women’s Business Network. In 2010, she was also named to the Ottawa Business Journal’s Forty under 40.
In addition to her duties with Senators Sports & Entertainment, Crowe serves as board chair for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) and as board member for Roger’s House, a pediatric respite and palliative care facility in the region.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Crowe graduated from Queen’s University with a bachelor of commerce degree in 1993. She then articled with the accounting firm KPMG in Ottawa, where she obtained her chartered accountant’s designation in 1994.
Crowe resides in Kanata with her husband, Joe, and children Owen and Reganne.
