Coaches are encouraged to test their team at the beginning of the hockey season, thereby putting a benchmark on their players’ abilities. Throughout the year, coaches are encouraged to retest their players and compare the new results to the benchmark, which will motivate players to improve their skills while demonstrating their progress with tangible, comparable results.
