The Ottawa Senators and Scotiabank are providing local minor hockey players the unique opportunity to improve their hockey skills with members of the Senators Alumni at Scotiabank Place.

Fun and Games Clinic with Shean Donovan– 5p.m.-6p.m.
(Novice players)
Designed for Novice players, the Fun and Games clinic will feature participants interacting with Senators Alumnus Shean Donovan and instructors of the Senators Hockey programs in a variety of small area games that are meant to promote individual skill development, but also fun as participants will play a number of games throughout the clinic.
Forwards Clinic with Shean Donovan – 6p.m.-7p.m.
(Atom and Peewee players)
A tenacious forward as a member of the Senators, Senators Alumnus Shean Donovan, now a minor hockey coach in West Carleton, will work with the clinic participants to focus on drills to assist forwards in learning how to create more scoring opportunities and other individual offensive tactics and skills required to bulge the twine.
Defence Clinic with Jason York – 7p.m.-8p.m.
(Atom and Peewee players)
Former Senators defenceman and Nepean native, Jason York was a mobile, puck moving defenceman during his time with the Senators and is currently a minor hockey coach in Kanata. Participants will watch, listen and learn tips from Jason and Senators hockey clinic instructors on proper defensive ice awareness and how to retrieve and move the puck up the ice quickly among other individual defensive tactics that will help participants play better defense.
Goaltenders
A limited number of goaltender participants will be accepted into each clinic. Each session will feature a Senators hockey programs goaltending instructor that will work with the goaltenders during the warmup of each session to work on the fundamentals and provide feedback as the session progresses through drills.
6 goalies for the Fun and Games session and 4 goalies for the forwards and defence clinic will be accepted.
Upon confirmation of acceptance into the Sens Alumni Clinic, registrants will be given the opportunity to request one or both of the following:

For those interested in presenting this as a Christmas Gift for the minor hockey player in your family, please let us know and we would be happy to provide a signed letter from Shean Donovan or Jason York advising them of their registration in the Alumni clinic at Scotiabank Place and the Senators practice jersey or replica jersey (if upgraded) in a Senators jersey box for you to place under the tree. Please note, these items can be made available for pickup at Scotiabank Place in advance of Christmas. Mailing/shipping charges will apply if requested.
