Scotiabank Minor Hockey Week
February 3 – 9, 2013
Join the Ottawa Senators and Scotiabank in a weeklong celebration of minor hockey at Scotiabank Place and throughout the community. Each Ottawa Senators home game will feature minor hockey participants in the following programs.
Future Sens
Minor hockey teams will be participating in exhibition games at Scotiabank Place prior to each Sens home game. Click here for more information on how your team can play a game at Scotiabank Place prior to a Senators home game.
Scotiabank Skaters
Minor hockey players will be selected from the Scotiabank Skaters contest to carry the Sens flag onto the ice at Scotiabank Place as a part of the pre-game ceremony. Click here for more information.
Scotiabank Minor Hockey Lineup
Six minor hockey players will take the ice and lineup beside the Senators starting lineup for the national anthems.
Minor Hockey Referees Lineup
Minor hockey referees from the ODHA and Hockey Outaouais will get the chance to meet the NHL officials before the game, take to the ice, and lineup next to them on the centre ice line for the national anthems (select games).
33rd Annual Nepean Girls Hockey Association Winter Tournament
Bell Sensplex
Cheer on some of the highest level of girls minor hockey with 84 teams competing across 14 competitive divisions at the Bell Sensplex. Championship Sunday will feature semi-finals and championship games taking place throughout the day. Click here for further information.
Ottawa Senators vs. Buffalo Sabres
Minor hockey players will be participating in the Subway Breakaway Relay intermission activity on-ice during the 1st intermission.

A local Tim Hortons sponsored initiation team will participate in Timbits hockey mini-challenge during the 1st intermission of the Sens game.

Tim Hortons Coaches Clinic
10th Anniversary
Scotiabank Place
8:30am – 11:00am
Join over 700 minor hockey coaches from the Ottawa-Gatineau community as they gather at Scotiabank Place to hear from some of the best coaching minds in the area. Presentations will focus on skating, goaltending, defense, and offense specific instructions and drills. Each participant in attendance will receive a Tim Hortons Coaches Clinic handbook full of hockey drills and advise.
