From Downtown Ottawa
Scotiabank Place is a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Ottawa – take Highway 417 (the Queensway) west to the Palladium Drive exit. This 4 lane arena-specific interchange will bring you right to Scotiabank Place’s doors.
From South of Ottawa
If you’re travelling from south of Ottawa, follow Highway 31 or Highway 416 to the 417. Proceed west on Highway 417 to the Palladium Drive exit.
From Outaouais Region
From the Outaouais region, take the Portage Bridge across the Ottawa River. Proceed on Wellington Street to Lyon Street, and south on Lyon Street to Highway 417 (the Queensway). Follow the Queensway west to the Palladium Drive exit.
From West of Ottawa
If you are coming from the west, take either Highway 7 (Carleton Place, Smiths Falls, Perth) or Highway 17 (Almonte, Pakenham, Arnprior, Renfrew) to Highway 417 (the Queensway). Follow the Queensway east to the Palladium Drive exit.
Charter Buses/Recreational Vehicles
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Terry Fox Dr. exit from Hwy. 417 and turn left onto Terry Fox Dr. Turn right on Palladium and proceed to Cyclone Taylor Blvd. Turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd and take first left into Lot 6. Use the cashier lane on the right (north) side for payment upon entry and turn immediately to the right into designated bus parking area. All passengers are to be dropped off and picked up in this area only.
Coming from the west take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right). Follow the interchange, staying in the right-hand lane, and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd. and continue to Cyclone Taylor Blvd.. Turn left on Cyclone Taylor Blvd. and follow the above directions when entering Lot 6.
Departing: Use dedicated lane within Lot 6 and merge into traffic on Cyclone Taylor Blvd when turning right out of Lot 6.
Turn left (east) or right (west) onto Palladium Dr. as traffic conditions permit.
Passenger Drop-Offs / Pick-Ups Tips
Arriving: Guests dropping off passengers may use Frank Finnigan Way located directly in front of Gate 1 at Scotiabank Place.
Coming from the east take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit northbound (right). Follow the interchange and turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. Proceed to Frank Finnegan Way and turn right.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right) and follow the interchange to Huntmar Rd. Turn left onto Huntmar Rd. and turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. and merge right. Proceed to Frank Finnegan Way and turn right.
Departing: Frank Finnigan Way is a one way south bound before, during and after all events at Scotiabank Place. Users must turn right (west) onto Palladium Dr. to exit. From here you have three options for exiting the site:
- Hwy 417 via Palladium Dr. interchange – proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. southbound – turn left at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. northbound – turn right at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
Limousine drop off/pick up tips
OPTION # 1:
Limousines may drop-off and pick-up their customers in the Valet drop-off area situated at Gate 2 for a fee of $30.00. Pay the cashier in cash only the night of the event or purchase in advance, a package of 20 limousine passes from the Vinci Park office. These can be paid by company cheque or by cash.
Notes for option # 1:
- Those Drivers that choose option # 1 will drop off their customers at Gate 2. Once the passengers are dropped off, the Drivers may not remain at Gate 2. They will then proceed to the booth at lot 2. (Cyclone Taylor and Huntmar) and pay the cashier a fee of $30.00. Immediately to the right of the booth, the Drivers will notice 9 double parking spaces. The first limousine to arrive MUST park at the back of those spaces to allow room for all limousines. Limousine Drivers who do not wish to stay for the duration of the event must still enter through Lot 2 and pay a fee of $30.00 upon their return and park in one of the spaces provided for you. All limousine parking space is available on a first come first served basis.
- Vinci Park will supply 2 employees with radios in order to call up the limousines when their customers arrive. Customers should be informed that they will need to approach the Vinci Park employee at the concierge desk located inside the second entrance of Gate 2. At this point the customers must give the limo company name and Drivers name to ensure that the proper limousine is called up. Customers must only call up for their limousine when all the passengers are ready to be picked up. Once a limousine has been called up, the employee situated in the booth at lot 2 will go inform the Driver that his customers are ready for pick-up. Only a limousine called up by a Vinci Park employee may proceed to Gate 2. Customers MUST NOT call up the Drivers on their cell phones for pick-up. Once a Driver has been notified by a Vinci Park employee that he may go pick up his customers, he may proceed in the right hand lane following the fence on the South side of the lot. The Drivers will then go up a ramp located to their right and proceed onto the interlock stone walkway. Drivers will then Drive on the access way until they arrive at Gate 2 where they will greet and pick-up their customers. The Driver will then exit with the rest of the valet customers. (Limousines MAY NOT stay on the access way for any extended period of time.)
OPTION # 2:
Limousine Drivers drop-off and pick up their customers in the Bus lot for a fee of $20.00.
Lot #1 – Passholders Only
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy 417. Exit northbound (right). Follow the interchange and turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. Remain in the left-hand lane. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right) and follow interchange to Huntmar Rd.. Turn left onto Huntmar and turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd.. Merge into left-hand lane. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Departing: All traffic is directed right onto Cyclone Taylor. At Huntmar Rd. you may turn either right (north) or left (south), and access your preferred route home. Either of these options will allow you to access Hwy. 417 via the Palladium Dr. interchange.
TIP – arriving and departing traffic is often lighter on the NORTH loop of the Palladium Dr. interchange.
Average time to empty the lot – 23 minutes
Lot #2 – Passholders only
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit northbound (right). Follow the interchange and turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. Merge into the centre lane. Once you have passed the Lot 1/Valet Parking entrance, merge into the far right-hand lane. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right) and follow interchange to Huntmar Rd. Turn left onto Huntmar and turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd.. Merge into centre lane. Once you have passed the lot 1/Valet parking entrance, merge into the far right-hand lane. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Departing: All traffic is directed left onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. towards Huntmar Rd. At Huntmar Rd. you may turn either right (north) or left (south), and access your preferred route home. Either of these options will allow you to access Hwy. 417 via the Palladium Dr. interchange.
TIP – arriving and departing traffic is often lighter on the NORTH loop of the Palladium Dr. interchange.
Average time to empty the lot – 11 minutes
Lot #3 – Passholders only
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (left). Follow the interchange and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.. Merge into the left-hand lane. The Lot #3 entrance is on your immediate left-hand side. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to lot attendant.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right). Follow the interchange to Huntmar Rd. and proceed straight through the traffic lights. Merge into the left-hand lane. The Lot #3 entrance is on your immediate left-hand side. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Departing: All exiting traffic from Lot #3 will be directed westbound (right) onto Palladium Dr.
From here you have three options for exiting the site:
- Hwy 417 via Palladium Dr. interchange – proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. southbound – turn left at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. northbound – turn right at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
Average time to empty the lot – 22 minutes
Lot #3 – Accessible Handicapped Parking
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (left).Follow the interchange and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd. Merge into the left-hand lane. The Lot #3 entrance is on your immediate left-hand side. Have your Ministry of Ontario Disabled Parking Permit and photo identification ready for presentation to lot attendant.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right). Follow the interchange and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.. Merge into the left-hand land. The Lot #3 entrance is on your immediate left-hand side. Have your Ministry of Ontario Disabled Parking Permit and photo identification ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
All exiting traffic from Lot #3 will be directed westbound (right) onto Palladium Dr. From here you have three options for exiting the site:
- Hwy 417 via Palladium Dr. interchange – proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. southbound – turn left at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. northbound – turn right at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
Average time to empty the lot – 22 minutes
Lot #4 – Passholders and Premium cash parking
Arriving: Coming from the east take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (left). Follow the interchange and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.. Merge into the far right-hand lane. Have your parking pass or cash ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right) and follow the interchange straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.. Merge into the far right-hand lane. Have your parking pass or cash ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Departing: Two lanes of traffic will exit westbound (left) out of the main entrance of the lot onto Palladium Dr.
From here you have three options for exiting the site:
- Hwy 417 via Palladium Dr. interchange – proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. southbound – turn left at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. northbound – turn right at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
TIP – One lane of traffic may exit north or south onto Huntmar Rd. from the southwest corner of Lot 4.
Average time to empty the lot – 14 minutes
Lot #5 – General Parking
Arriving: Coming from the east take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (left). Follow the interchange, staying in the right-hand lane, and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.. Once you have passed the Lot #4 entrance, merge into the right-hand lane. The Lot #5 entrance will be on your right-hand side at the Palladium Dr./Cyclone Taylor intersection. The lot is full by approximately 6 p.m.
Coming from the west take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right). Follow the interchange, staying in the right-hand lane, and proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.. Once you have passed the Lot #4 entrance, merge into the right-hand lane. The Lot #5 entrance will be on your right-hand side at the Palladium Dr./Cyclone Taylor intersection. The lot is closed at approximately 6 p.m.
Departing: One lane of traffic exits right onto Palladium Dr. at the eastern corner of Lot #5. Proceed eastbound on Palladium Dr. to Terry Fox Rd. For Hwy 417 access (eastbound or westbound), turn south (left) from Palladium Dr. onto Terry Fox Rd.
Average time to empty the lot – 34 minutes
Lot #6 – General Parking
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Terry Fox Dr. exit from Hwy. 417 and turn left onto Terry Fox Dr. Turn right on Palladium and proceed to Cyclone Taylor Blvd. At the Cyclone Taylor/Palladium intersection there are three lanes of traffic. The left lane is for thru traffic. The two right lanes will be directed to turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. The centre lane shall be directed into Lot #6 or towards Lot #9 depending on the traffic flow. The right-hand lane will be directed towards Lot 9. The lot is full by approximately 6:30 p.m.
Coming from the West take the Terry Fox Dr. exit from Hwy. 417 and turn right onto Terry Fox Dr. Turn right onto Palladium Dr. and follow the above directions once on Palladium Dr.
Departing:Two lanes of traffic exit right onto Cyclone Taylor.
At Palladium Dr., the right-hand lane will be directed to turn right onto Palladium Dr. From here you have three options for exiting the site:
- Hwy 417 via Palladium Dr. interchange – proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. southbound – turn left at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. northbound – turn right at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- At Palladium Dr., the left-hand lane will be directed to turn left onto Palladium Dr. towards Terry Fox Dr. Proceed eastbound on Palladium Dr. to Terry Fox Rd. For Hwy 417 access (eastbound or westbound), turn south (left) from Palladium Dr. onto Terry Fox Rd.
Average time to empty the lot – 34 minutes
Lot #7 – Passholders only
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit northbound (right). Follow the interchange and turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. and merge into the centre lane. Remain in this lane until you pass the Lot #2 entrance and then merge into the right-hand lane. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right) and follow the interchange to Huntmar Rd. Turn left onto Huntmar Rd. and turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. and merge into the centre lane. Remain in this lane until you pass the Lot #2 entrance and then merge into the right-hand lane. Have your parking pass ready for presentation to the lot attendant.
Departing: Two lanes of traffic exit from Lot #7. Both will be directed left/west on Cyclone Taylor Blvd. towards Huntmar Rd. At Huntmar Rd. you may turn either right (north) or left (south), and access your preferred route home. Either of these options will allow you to access Hwy. 417 via the Palladium Dr. interchange.

Average time to empty lot – 19 minutes.
Lot #9 – General Parking
Arriving: Coming from the East take the Terry Fox Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Turn left onto Terry Fox Dr. Turn right on Palladium and proceed to Cyclone Taylor Blvd. At the Cyclone Taylor/Palladium intersection there are three lanes of traffic. The left lane is for thru traffic. The two right lanes will be directed to turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd.. From Cyclone Taylor Blvd., the centre lane will be directed into Lot #6 or towards Lot #9, depending on the traffic flow. The right-hand lane will be directed towards Lot #9.
Coming from the West take the Terry Fox Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Turn right onto Terry Fox Dr. Turn right onto Palladium Dr. Follow the above directions once on Palladium Dr.
Departing: There are 2 points of exit from Lot #9
Main entrance to Lot #9 – four lanes of traffic exit the main Lot #9 entrance:
- The 2 right-hand lanes are directed right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. towards Huntmar Rd. At Huntmar Rd. you may turn either right (north) or left (south), and access your preferred route home. Either of these options will allow you to access Hwy. 417 via the Palladium Dr. interchange.
- TIP – arriving and departing traffic is often lighter on the NORTH loop of the Palladium Dr. interchange.
- The 2 left lanes are directed left onto Cyclone Taylor towards Palladium Dr.
- At Palladium Dr., the right-hand lane will be directed to turn right onto Palladium Dr. From here you have three options for exiting the site:
- Hwy 417 via Palladium Dr. interchange – proceed straight through the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. southbound – turn left at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- Huntmar Rd. northbound – turn right at the traffic lights at Huntmar Rd.
- At Palladium Dr., the left-hand lane will be directed to turn left onto Palladium Dr. towards Terry Fox Dr. Proceed eastbound on Palladium Dr. to Terry Fox Rd. For Hwy 417 access (eastbound or westbound), turn south (left) from Palladium Dr. onto Terry Fox Rd
Southwest corner of Lot #9 – two lanes of traffic depart via this exit.
All traffic from this exit is directed right onto Cyclone Taylor towards Huntmar Rd. At Huntmar Rd. you may turn either right (north) or left (south), and access your preferred route home. Either of these options will allow you to access Hwy. 417 via the Palladium Dr. interchange.

Average time to empty the lot – 35 minutes
Valet – Passholders and General Valet Parking
Arriving: Coming from the east take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit northbound (right). Follow the interchange and turn left onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd. and merge into the right hand lane. The Valet Parking Entrance will be on your right at Gate #2.
Coming from the West take the Palladium Dr. exit from Hwy. 417. Exit southbound (right). Follow the interchange and turn left onto Huntmar Rd.. Merge into the right-hand lane. Turn right onto Cyclone Taylor Blvd.. The Valet Parking entrance will be on your right at Gate #2.The entrance to Valet Parking is located on the right directly outside Gate #2.
For customers wishing to purchase valet parking upon arrival, availability is limited. It is best to arrive by 5:30pm to ensure access.
Departing: Two lanes of traffic are directed left onto Cyclone Taylor towards Huntmar Rd. At Huntmar Rd. you may turn either right (north) or left (south), and access your preferred route home. Either of these options will allow you to access Hwy. 417 via the Palladium Dr. interchange.
