Fred Barrett
Selected in the second round (20th overall) of the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft by the Minnesota North Stars, Fred Barrett patrolled the blue line for 13 seasons and tallied 148 points. Originally from Ottawa, Barrett played 12 seasons with Minnesota before joining the Los Angeles Kings for his final year of pro hockey. Barrett is currently a member of the Ottawa Fire Department and was one of the first members of the Senators Alumni.
