Shawn Rivers
Defenceman Shawn Rivers played six years of his professional hockey, most of it in the American and International hockey leagues. Expansion gave the Ottawa native his NHL opportunity and in 1992-93, he suited up for four games with the Tampa Bay Lightning, and recording two assists and two penalty minutes. Rivers spent one year each in pro leagues in Germany and Switzerland before retiring in 1998 from professional hockey.
