Steve Washburn
Ottawa native Steve Washburn played junior hockey for his hometown 67’s of the Ontario Hockey League. As a forward, Washburn played 98 games in the NHL with the Florida Panthers, who picked him in the third round (78th overall) of the 1993 NHL Entry Draft, and Philadelphia Flyers. He then moved overseas and played in professional leagues in Switzerland, Germany and Austria before retiring and moving back home to Ottawa..
