POLICY FOR SEASON-SEAT OWNER PURCHASES
As you are aware, the National Hockey League and the National Hockey League Players’ Association were unable to complete the negotiation of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) prior to the conclusion of the previous CBA which expired on September 15, 2012. As a result of the current work stoppage, the NHL announced on Wednesday, September 19th that all pre-season games until September 30th, 2012 have been cancelled.
We appreciate that you have made a significant investment with us and we have developed a plan to recognize your loyalty and minimize the impact of the work stoppage. For all cancelled games during the work stoppage you have the following two options:
- Earn interest at a rate of 5% per annum and leave funds on account to be used as credit towards 2012-13 regular season and playoff games or 2013-14 season seats.
- Earn interest at a rate of 1.25% and receive a refund.
