Junior Skills Challenge presented by Canadian Tire

Junior Skills

The Senators Junior Skills Challenge presented by Canadian Tire featured over 350 minor hockey players from across the Ottawa-Gatineau region throughout the 2013-14 season.  Top participants were invited to Canadian Tire Centre to compete in the finals that took place on March 12, 2014.

Congratulations to all the players who dedicated themselves to further their individual skills through the Senators Junior Skills Challenge presented by Canadian Tire.  Winners from the Finals competed alongside the Senators during the Sens Skills competition presented by Sport Chek.

This program was open to Atom and Peewee minor hockey teams who were registered with ODMHA, OWHA, or Hockey Outaouais.

12 minor hockey players were selected through the Senators Junior Skills Challenge presented by Canadian Tire who competed with the Senators in the annual skills competition just like Senators prospects Cody Ceci and Vincent Dunn.

Two ways to get involved!

OPTION #1 – TEAMS HOSTED THEIR OWN SESSION
(only takes 25 minutes of ice time)

Download the manual, host the challenges during a practice and submit the scoresheet to the Ottawa Senators.  Top participants from your team automatically qualify for the Championships at Canadian Tire Centre on March 12th.  Scoresheets must be received by March 3, 2014.

OPTION #2 – COMPETED AT REGIONAL FINALS
(Individual registration)

Individuals registered for free to compete at one of the Regional Finals. Top participants from each Regional Finals were invited to compete at the Championships at Canadian Tire Centre on March 12th. Limited openings were available at Regional Finals, participants could only register for one session per season.
