GAME: Ottawa Senators (31-15-7-4) at New York Rangers (21-26-7-4).

TIME: Monday, 1 p.m. EST.

The New York Rangers hope to avenge their most lopsided loss of the season as they host the Ottawa Senators.

New York has lost 10 of its last 13 games, with the worst loss during that span coming against Ottawa on Jan. 24.

Jussi Markkanen allowed six goals in the first and third periods and rookie Jason LaBarbera yielded three in the second as the Rangers were routed 9-1.

Mike Dunham, New York's regular goalie, missed the game while recovering from a concussion. It was the Rangers' worst loss since a 10-2 defeat at Quebec on March 6, 1993.

The game also marked Jaromir Jagr's New York debut.

Jagr, acquired from Washington on Jan. 23, has four goals and six assists in nine games with the Rangers. He has 20 goals and 35 assists in 55 games this season.

Jagr sat out New York's 6-2 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers on Saturday with a groin pull. Chris Simon and Alex Kovalev scored power-play goals for the Rangers.

Jagr is expected to be back in the lineup against the surging Senators.

Ottawa has won three in a row, including a 5-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday.

Zdeno Chara had a goal and two assists, and Patrick Lalime made 20 saves to lead Ottawa.

Jason Spezza, Wade Redden, Bryan Smolinski and Shaun Van Allen also scored to help the Senators complete a perfect homestand with their third win in a row since the break.

"We kind of stumbled into the break - we had a lot of sickness and now we've got our health back and we're starting to play well, and that's what we have to keep doing," Spezza said.

With 73 points, the Senators are tied for fourth in the Eastern Conference with Boston
