Jason Smith retires after 1,008 games

After 14 seasons, 1,008 regular-season games and 68 playoff appearances, 35-year-old Senators defenceman Jason Smith announced on Wednesday that he is retiring from the National Hockey League. 'IT'S TIME TO MOVE ON.'
